Secure the Kessel
A German unit trapped into a pocket (“kessel”), usually organises itself to make sure it will be able to stand forever (or at least until rescue comes).
Only the Germans can use this action, which is useful to avoid your trapped units surrendering too quickly.
Well-known exemples of organised pockets are the Demyansk, the Kholm Pocket and the Stalingrad pockets.
