Human Wave
The Soviet player can send human waves. This is not really efficient and will cost many lost lives BUT :
- You can do it even if you are low on ammo
- You do not need a skillful genral to launch one
- If your opponent is overwhelmed, he may end up pinned down or surrounded
In a nutshell, a perfect “bodies-for-time” trade-off action.
